Charles_Morelli

Charles Morelli, DPM

Dr. Morelli received his podiatric medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1990 and completed his surgical residency in foot surgery at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in 1996. He is a surgical attending at Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle, NY where he is actively involved with the residency program, and responsible for the training of new foot surgeons.

From 1998 to 2004, Dr. Morelli served as the on-site podiatric surgical residency director at United Hospital in Port Chester New York. He specializes in foot surgery, and his practice includes diabetic, geriatric and pediatric foot care, sports medicine and general podiatric services. Since 2004, along with members of the Mamaroneck United Methodist Church and a handpicked medical team, he has been making an annual mission trip to Nicaragua, where he performs surgery on the men, women and children at HEODRA hospital in Leon. While there, he has cared for hundreds of patients and helped train residents. With the help of his medical team, he has also been able to procure hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of medical and surgical supplies, which have been donated to the hospital.

Since 2009, Dr. Morelli has served as the president of the Westchester and Rockland divisions of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association. He is an avid skier and Level II, PSIA certified ski instructor at Belleayre ski center, in New York. He lives in Westchester with his wife and three daughters.

Olga Shvets, DPM

Dr. Olga Shvets graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2013 and has been with our practice since finishing her residency in July 2016. Having completed a three-year surgical and orthopedic residency program at New York’s Mount Sinai Hospital and SUNY Downstate where she served as chief surgical resident, Dr. Shvets is a highly trained podiatric surgeon with qualifications in both podiatric medicine and surgery. She's credentialed at Montefiore Hospital in New Rochelle as well as SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn where she is actively involved with the training of new surgical residents

As a member of the American Podiatric Medical Associates and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr. Shvets prides herself in not only maintaining a cutting-edge skill set with the foremost procedures in podiatric medicine and surgery, but in providing her patients with comfortable, compassionate and professional care
